My name is Dominique, and my journey to Ô Cœur Naturel has been shaped by family, heart, and a deep respect for the simple, meaningful things in life. As a mother of two, I first discovered the art of soap making while I was a stay-at-home mom. It began as a way to find my own balance and spark creative energy during those beautiful, busy years of raising my boys. What started as a quiet hobby in the corners of my day eventually grew into a deep-seated passion.
My path later led me to work in a long-term care home. I truly loved the work and the deep, personal bonds I formed with the residents, while working with the elderly was incredibly rewarding, it also meant navigating the emotional weight of their passing. This, combined with the heartbreak of losing my mother to the debilitating reality of ALS, changed my entire outlook.
Witnessing the fragility of health and the preciousness of time taught me that life is too short to wait. It reminded me to start doing, to trust my instincts, and to follow my heart. These experiences put everything into perspective and gave me the courage to follow my passion.
Ô Cœur Naturel was born from that realization – a desire to create small-batch, all-natural skincare that honors the body with the same gentle, intentional care I’ve come to value so deeply.
I’ve spent months meticulously developing and testing every recipe, using only the finest botanical ingredients to ensure they are kind to your skin. Today, I’m honoured to share these creations with you.
